
On Saturday 17th September eight nations will take to court on the final day of the wheelchair basketball competition at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games as they battle it out for their final placings and medals in the men’s side of the tournament.
Having treated spectators to a fairy tale journey after just taking their continent’s last qualifying spot for the Games, Spain will be making a Paralympic Games final debut at 17:30 (BRT) against the USA, the 2012 bronze medalists who are as yet undefeated in Rio.
The bronze medal game will see a re-match of the 2015 European Championship final as Great Britain faces Turkey.
Also determined will be places 5-8. World Champions Australia will tip off against host nation Brazil for 5th place whilst Germany will take on the Netherlands for 7th.
