International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF), alongside Wheelchair Basketball Canada is pleased to unveil the competition schedule for the 2017 Men’s U23 World Wheelchair Basketball Championship taking place June 8-16, 2017 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ont.

A total of 42 games will be played over eight days of competition as the top junior male wheelchair basketball athletes in the world represent 12 nations and vie for the title of world champions. Preliminary round competition will run from June 8-12, with the playoff round beginning on June 14. The bronze and gold medal games will both take place on June 16, 2017. All of the games will be webcast live on the official event website.

Tickets are on sale and are available for purchase online through the Mattamy Athletic Centre ticket portal.

Team Canada will face Australia, Brazil, Iran, Italy and Turkey in Pool A competition during the preliminary round. Pool B features France, Germany, Great Britain, Japan, South Africa and the United States.
