Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Colombia have all progressed to the final four of the Men’s 2018 South America Championships.
In the opening game of the quarter-finals, reigning South American Championships Argentina swept passed Ecuador, 78 – 16. Brazil also powered their way through to the semi-finals with an 83 – 37 win over Bolivia.
Colombia proved too strong for Chile in offense, as they scored consistently well in all four quarters defeating Chile 86 – 36 to secure their place in the next round.
In the most exciting quarter-final of the day Uruguay edged past hosts Peru, 72-62, to take the last place and set up a semi-final game against Brazil.
Three out of the four teams in the semi-finals will all be returning to Peru next year as they qualify for the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games.
