IWBF are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Koreaโs National Menโs Head Coach Mr. Han, Sa Hyun, due to illness, on 26th September 2020.
Mr. Han, a former player who represented Korea at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games, has taken the Korean team to a high level and proved to be an excellent coach on the international stage since taking on the national role. His most recent accomplishment was leading the team to silver at the 2019 Asia Oceania Championships and qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
Mr. Han was influential to so many people both on and off the court, and we know he will be missed by all of the wheelchair basketball family.
