The quarter-final line-up of the men’s competition at the 2022 IWBF Asia Oceania Championships taking place in Phuket, Thailand has been decided.
After five days of exhilarating wheelchair basketball, the preliminary stage concluded with three teams tied for the top spot in Pool A (Division 1) – Iran, Australia and Korea all finishing with 9 points each (4 wins and 1 loss). In the games between those three teams, it was Iran that had the best points difference to finish in first place, Australia second, and Korea third. Thailand secured fourth spot thanks to their win over Malaysia, with Malaysia in fifth spot.
