As anticipation mounts for the 2024 IWBF Women’s Repechage, the schedule for the tournament has been officially released, promising an array of thrilling matches.

The event, which will start on the 17 April 2024, will witness eight teams- Algeria, Australia, Germany, Canada, Thailand, Spain, France and hosts Japan – vying for victory and the four coveted spots at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. The tournament will take place at a venue at Asue Arena Osaka, that have a deep history of hosting wheelchair basketball competitions.

The schedule for the tournament’s first day sets the stage for intense competition, with four matches lined up:

Day 1 – 17.04.2024

  • 10:00: Algeria vs. Australia
  • 11:45: Opening Ceremony
  • 12:45: Germany vs. Thailand
  • 15:00: Japan vs. Canada
  • 17:15: Spain vs. France

The action continues on Day 2, April 18, featuring another four compelling matchups:

  • 12:45: Spain vs. Canada
