The International Wheelchair Basketball Federation and Paris 2024 are pleased to announce the competition schedule for wheelchair basketball at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, set to take place from 29 August to 8 September.

The competitions will be held at the Bercy Arena, located in the heart of Paris. Eight men’s and eight women’s national teams will compete for the highly coveted Paralympic medals.

Both the men’s and women’s tournaments at Paris 2024 will commence on 29 August. The first match will be an all-European affair, with Great Britain taking on Germany in the men’s Group A match at 10:30 CEST. The women’s competition will begin in the same session at 12:45, with European silver medallists Great Britain facing another European counterpart, Spain, in the women’s Group A encounter.

The pool stages for both tournaments will continue until 2 September, followed by knockout matches starting on 3 September. The format includes a round-robin phase within the groups, leading to quarter-finals, semi-finals, and then the finals. The men’s finals will be held on 7 September, with the women’s finals taking place on 8 September.
