The Brazilian Confederation of Wheelchair Basketball (CBBC) have announced the Brazil women's team for the 2018 World Championships.

Seven of the team were part of the Brazilian women’s team that finished seventh at the Rio 2016 Paralympics Games.

Brazil have appeared at the past two World Championships, Toronto in 2014 and Birmingham in 2010, where they have finished eleventh and tenth, respectively.

The team have already started acclimatization in the Netherlands with physical, technical and tactical work as well as friendly matches against the Netherlands National Team as they aim for their highest finish at a World Championships.

Brazil will open their World Championship campaign against Great Britain on Thursday 16th July at 11:15 am.

The 12 women who will compete in Hamburg, Germany between the 16th - 26th August are:
