IWBF is committed to advancing wheelchair basketball worldwide through its four zones: Africa, Americas, Asia Oceania, and Europe. Each zone oversees the sport within its region, adhering to IWBF’s global policies while respecting the autonomy of the 111 National Organizations for Wheelchair Basketball (NOWBs). These NOWBs play a vital role in local development and contribute to the sport's global growth. Together, zones and NOWBs ensure the cohesive and responsive development of wheelchair basketball, supporting athletes and promoting inclusion.
