Forty-seven wheelchair basketball players will make history at Birmingham 2022 being the first to represent the sport in its debut at the Commonwealth Games.


The players will represent 8 countries in the 3x3 wheelchair basketball competition which will take the world stage for the first time in an integrated programme with running 3x3 basketball for the first time.


Six men’s teams - Australia, England, Canada, Northern Ireland, Malaysia and South Africa - and six women’s teams - Australia, England, Canada, Kenya, Scotland and South Africa - will compete to be on the podium.
