The South America Championships will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina between 28 November – 14 December 2021, hosted by the Federacion Argentina De Basquetbol Adaptado (FABA), who have a proud history of hosting successful events. The South America Championships is the regional qualification tournament for the 2022 America’s Cup, which is the qualification tournament for the 2022 World Championships.
The women's competition will take place first between 29 November - 4 December 2021 followed by the men's competition taking place between 7 December - 13 December 2021.

Women's Competition
The women’s competition will take place between 29 November – 5 December 2021.
Countries competing: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile.
The four teams will compete for one of the three spots available in the Americas' Cup, next year.
*UPDATE 28/11/2021 - Colombia has withdrawn from the competition due to travel issues.

Men's Competition
The men’s competition will take place between 6 December – 14 December 2021.
Countries competing: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, Venezuela.
The countries will compete in a round-robin to determine the top three who will qualify for the Americas' Cup next year.
