The 2024 IWBF Repechage Tournament for Men, will take place in Antibes, France, hosted by the Fédération Française Handisport, between 12 April - 15 April.
The tournament is the final qualification event for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
The 2024 IWBF Repechage Tournament for Men will be the first of its kind.
Due to the reduction in team places at the Paris 224 Paralympic Games, a new qualification system was introduced with the aim of ensuring the fairest approach and that the best teams in the world are represented at the Games. The Repechage tournaments give a final opportunity for teams to qualify for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games that don’t qualify through the Zonal Championships.
The 2024 IWBF Men's Repechage will take place in the iconic Azur Arena Antibes.
The IWBF Repechage Tournaments are the final qualification stage for teams seeking a spot in major international wheelchair basketball competitions, such as the Paralympic Games and World Championships. These tournaments provide nations with one last chance to earn a place in these prestigious events, ensuring that the best teams from around the world are represented.
The inaugural Repechage Tournaments, which acted as the ultimate qualification for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, took place in 2024.
