The Central and East Asia qualifying tournament, which will take place between the 4th March – 10th March in Bangkok, Thailand sees eight men’s teams and six women’s teams competing for their place at the Asian Para Games.

Four men’s and women’s wheelchair basketball teams from the Central and East Asia region will qualify for the Asian Para Games in October.

The eight men’s teams have been split into two pools. Pool A will consist of China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia, whilst hosts Thailand will play Chinese Taipei, Afghanistan and India in Pool B.  The pool standing will determine the crossovers for the quarter-finals, before the semi-finals and rankings games.

In the women’s competition, the Afghanistan, Cambodia, India, Iran, Laos, and Thailand will play in a round robin, each team playing all others once, followed by ranking games to decide the final placings.
