The IWBF Americas Congress, which is held every four years, will take place on Thursday 29th August between 10.00 – 14.00 (local time).
It will be held during the 2019 Parapan American Games in Lima, Peru, which acts as the zone’s wheelchair basketball qualification tournament for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
The Congress will provide updates about the worldwide organisation of wheelchair basketball, discuss future developments for the zone, as well as include the elections of the Zone Executive Council.
All National Organisations of Wheelchair Basketball (NOWB’s) from the Americas Zone, who are members of IWBF, are invited to attend the Congress.
