The draw for the 2019 European Championships for Men Division C will take place tomorrow (10th April 2019) at 12.00 noon (local time), in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The event, hosted by Bulgarian Basketball Federation, will take place at the Sports Gym Triaditsa where the official competition will be played in the summer.
The draw will be overseen by IWBF Europe’s Secretary General Petr Tucek and the Competition Officer, Dirk Cossaer, and will be attended by representatives from Serbia and Greece’s national federations.
The seven teams confirmed to participate, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ireland and Portugal, will be drawn across two groups.
A press conference will follow the draw, giving an opportunity for the media to question the President of the Bulgarian Basketball Federation, Georgi Glushkov; General Manager Alexander Alexandrov, of "Razvitie Corporation" who are the General Sponsor of the Championships; and the coach of the national team of Bulgaria, Vladimir Iskrov.
The tournament will be held from July 29th to August 4th in Triaditsa Hall in Sofia and will be the debut at a European Championships for the national wheelchair basketball team of Bulgaria.
