The 2024 Official Wheelchair Basketball Rules Interpretations (OWBRI) have officially been published and will come into effect on 1st October 2024. This updated document provides essential guidance on the application of the latest wheelchair basketball rules, ensuring consistency and alignment with international standards.
Chairman of the Technical Commission, Cristian Roja, highlighted that the OWBRI 2024 has been thoroughly updated to align with the Official Wheelchair Basketball Rules 2023 (version 2, valid from 6th March 2023) and the latest FIBA Official Basketball Rules (version 4.1, valid from 25th July 2024).
This extensive work, completed by the members of the Technical Commission, showcases the latest modifications, underlined in blue, to ensure clarity and consistency in rule interpretation.
