In other women's games, the AOZ team orchestrated a remarkable turnaround. Reversing an earlier group stage defeat, the team claimed the 5th spot with a 41-34 win over Cambodia. Meanwhile, Laos capped off their campaign on a high note, securing the 7th place ahead of the Philippines with a comprehensive 51-20 victory. The win highlighted Laos' progress and improvement throughout the tournament.
