IWBF and Molten are delighted to confirm the official balls to be used at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games will be the B7G4500 and B6G4500.
Molten, who are a global partner of both IWBF and FIBA, have recently released the new models of ball which, as well as the game ball for Tokyo 2020, will become the official ball of IWBF.
The new model debuted at the FIBA Basketball World Cup in China earlier this year and is the successor to the GG7X and GG6X model, which has been IWBF’s official ball for the past three years.
The B7G4500 and B6G4500 are made from a premium composite leather with the main difference from the previous models being the surface texture, which is a pebble pattern offering a less slippery and improved grip performance.

The new models will become available in most countries in early 2020.
