Official ball for Rio 2016 Summer Paralympic Games unveiled

IWBF proudly announce that Molten's exclusively branded BGL7X-YG and BGL6X-YG basketballs will be used in the wheelchair basketball competition at the Rio 2016 Summer Paralympic Games.



The IWBF-approved special edition design will adorn the official balls. The expressive design reflects the movement and agility of the most elite players in the world and will add excitement to the game for players and spectators alike.



IWBF Secretary General Maureen Orchard said, “We are proud to announce we will be using these unique basketballs that will be also used in the basketball in the Olympic Games.”

While the special edition balls will be made available for sale to the general public on 1 July.
