The anticipation for the 2023 U25 Women's Wheelchair Basketball World Championship reaches new heights as the official schedule for the event has been released today.
The wheelchair basketball family and supporters from around the globe can now mark their calendars for the exhilarating tournament scheduled to take place from 3 October to 9 October. The championship will be hosted in Bangkok, by the Thai Wheelchair Basketball Sport Association, where the world's top young female wheelchair basketball athletes will converge to showcase their skills and compete for the coveted title.
The tournament, which is the fourth of its kind, is expected to mark a significant milestone for wheelchair basketball being the largest to date with ten teams taking part.
The opening match of the 2023 U25 Women's Wheelchair Basketball World Championship will kick off on 3 October at 18:00 between hosts Thailand and South Africa. the tournament will span over 7 days of fierce competition and camaraderie.
