A Spanish translation of the 2019 Comments and Interpretations of the 2018 Official Wheelchair Basketball Rules is now available.
The comments and interpretations presented in the document are the IWBF Official Comments & Interpretations of the IWBF 2018 Official Wheelchair Basketball Rules and were effective as of 30th April 2019.
This document, with the purpose to unify the application of the rules globally, supersedes all previously published IWBF Official Comments & Interpretations.
In addition, the interpretations’ aim is to deal with situations within the game where regulations are not specifically mentioned in the rules, but which can be derived from the spirit and the sense of the rules in the context of modern tendencies in the development of wheelchair basketball.
Chairman of the IWBF Technical Commission, Cristian Roja, said, “I am very pleased to be able to publish a Spanish version of the Comments and Interpretations for our Spanish-speaking wheelchair basketball community. On behalf of the commission I would like to thank Mr. Ricardo Moreno and his supporting team for their work on producing the translation.”
