The 2022 IWBF Africa U25 Women's World Championship Qualifiers will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa from 5-8 December 2022.

Host Nation South Africa, Ethiopia, and the Democratic Republic of Congo will battle it out for the one slot allocated to the Africa Zone at next year's IWBF U25 Women's Wheelchair Basketball Championships.

Women's U25 World Championship

The IWBF Women’s U25 Wheelchair Basketball World Championship is a prestigious international competition that brings together the top under-25 women’s national teams from around the world. The tournament serves not only as a platform for high-level competition but also plays a crucial role in the development and growth of the women’s game at the youth level.

Held every four years, the championship made its debut in 2011 and has since become a key event in the global wheelchair basketball calendar, driving participation and inspiring the next generation of athletes.

Teams qualify through zonal tournaments held in the four IWBF Zones: Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia Oceania, ensuring the best young talent from each region is represented.
