Countdown is on for the 2025 IWBF Men’s U23 Americas Championship, with the official schedule now released. The tournament will bring together the top young wheelchair basketball talent from the Americas region, as Canada, Colombia, the USA, and Brazil compete for two coveted spots at the 2025 IWBF Men’s U23 World Championship in São Paulo, Brazil, this June.
While Brazil is participating in the championship, the team has already secured qualification for the World Championship as the host nation. As a result, the two highest-placed teams aside from Brazil will earn qualification spots.
Taking place from April 2 to 6, 2025, in the vibrant city of Bogotá, Colombia, the championship will be hosted at the renowned Unidad Deportiva El Salitre. The event is organized by the Federación Colombiana de Baloncesto en Silla de Ruedas (Colombian Wheelchair Basketball Federation), in collaboration with IWBF Americas.
