A spectacular two weeks of wheelchair basketball at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games concluded earlier this month.
Thanks to the EY corporate responsibility programme: EY Ripples, IWBF Chairperson of the Technical Commission, Cristian Roja, was able to participate in the Games and to oversee and manage the team of international referees across the men’s and women’s competition.
Cristian Roja is a Senior Consultant at EY, and because of EY’s commitment to diversity issues and the development of inclusive cultures which allows people to express their best potential, they have supported him to perform his duties of Chair of the Technical Commission not just at the Tokyo 2020 but beyond.
Roja, said:
